Setting up an Animated Stream Deck Screensaver

Setting up an Animated Stream Deck Screensaver

After downloading a screensaver from the Elgato Marketplace, there are two methods for setting it up. Below, we'll cover both methods!

One-Click Setup Method

The simplest way to set up an animated screensaver on your Stream Deck is by opening it from your file explorer, just like any other file. Once opened, it's ready to use!

Manual Setup Method

To import the screensaver folder profile into your Stream Deck app, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the settings in your Stream Deck app.

  2. Navigate to the Profiles tab, look for the small arrow dropdown icon, and click it.

  3. Choose ‘Import’.

  4. Navigate to the screensaver folder you downloaded and select the profile that matches your Stream Deck type.

And you're done! You now have a new profile created with the screensaver animation on it.

Changing Profile Destination with Key Press

When pressed, these keys are configured to change the profile of your Stream Deck to the next one in the list. If you want to change it to a custom profile that you may have already set up, follow these steps:

  1. Click on one of the icons that you want to change.

  2. Select the desired profile from the 'Profile' dropdown.
